Leftovers: State Fair Booth
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education needed to replace its aging state fair booth, which was having structural issues. The reconfiguration of booth spaces in the education building also posed a serious problem because of how the booth was assembled. A new booth provided an opportunity to maximize storage space and to retire the oversized counter that was a barrier to interacting with visitors. Because the booth is on a busy corner, it was important to allow visitors to come into the booth space itself away from the heavy foot traffic. The agency's name had also changed and needed to be updated.
