Other Print: Depot Newsletter

Save the Northfield Depot needed a newsletter that it could save and e-mail as a PDF. It needed to be in Microsoft Word and be compatible across computer platforms. I mimicked the look established by the organization's web site to create a simple and easy-to-use template. I also created Word styles so that users could format text easily and consistently.

Other Print: Get Ready Newsletter

The Get Ready program (an early intervention and college awareness program) published a newsletter in English and Spanish three times during the academic year to keep families, educators, and partners informed about its activites. The cyan plate for each issue is printed in a color from the program's color palette.

Primary Audience: educators, partners, and parents of students in the program
My Involvement: edited and laid out each issue, coordinated translation, reconfigured layout to accomodate two languages

The Rice County Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity needed a cost-effective way to keep their volunteers informed and to promote the nonprofit to the county at large. The newsletter was limited to one double-sided page and had to be reproduced on a black and white laser printer.

Primary Audience: volunteers and potential donors
