Flash Activities: Financing Your Future
The Get Ready program (an early intervention and college awareness program) wanted an interactive version of its Financing Your Future workbook to introduce basic financial conepts and show how being money smart now can help students achieve their dreams later. Animation and interactive activities guide students through the concepts at their own pace, while additional secondary elements explore topics in greater detail. It was developed in Flash to run on CD-ROM and online.
Primary Audience: sixth grade students
My Involvement: wrote script and managed design process with production company

Flash Activities: FuturePlan
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education designed FuturePlan: Life After High School to help students learn about themselves, connect interests to careers, and begin to explore Minnesota higher education options and financial aid. It includes 11 interactive tools. Originally designed in Macromedia Director to run on CD-ROM, the project was converted to Flash in 2007 to increase cross-platform compatibility and to make it accessible online.
Primary Audience: middle and high school students
My Involvement: wrote script and managed design process with production company; managed conversion to Flash
